Ram Mohan Roy Seminary School

 

Ram Mohan Roy Seminary School is one of the oldest schools of Patna established in 1890s. The school has a very special place in the Indian History. Student from the school took activate part in the Indian Independence movement.  The school has been imparting quality education since its inception. Its alumni are spread across the world.

The School is situated in the lane of Kazanchi road  of Ashok Rajpath, near by Patna College. Due to its proximity to the various colleges of Patna University, it has been a preferable destination for the student. It was established in 1890s when there were only few schools in the city. The School was blessed during August Kranti movement  in 1942 when two of its student sacrificed their life while hoisting national flag at the State Assembly building. Their supreme sacrifice at such a tender age has put the school in the Indian history. The martyrs memorial is a tribute to the martyrs.  The two students were :

The school is government funded and is affiliated to the State board. It follows curriculum based on CBSE pattern. The school offers classes till 12th class.
